Large maps
I refer to large maps in my shop as those exceeding 100 cm or 40 inches in height or width. Whether it's a continent or world map with more than 3,000 or even 4,000 place names, topographical elevation and bathymetric depth data, or the 1739 city plan of Paris, which showed almost every building: such maps need space - on your wall! Often, it's not the digital print resolution, but the availability of high-quality paper in the appropriate size, that determines the maximum map size.
